Week 6 Results…. need help

Another week where I just can’t get my head in gear.

But I did lose another 1/2 lb.62bb369976ffe57dd4d8901f01be8b34

If I keep it up all year that’s 26lbs so I’m still happy to be losing.

But I need to get myself out of this miserable “I can’t do this” mentality or it’s going to take me forever.

I’m down 13lbs now which is fantastic. One more pound and I get my 1st award at Slimming World and I’m going to redo my photos and measurements.

Any tips for getting back on track. I could use the advice.

  1. Congrats on the loss. I have found that I have to force the positive thoughts sometimes. I can get quite negative if I am not careful but as soon as I recognize the negative thoughts I replace them with positive “can do” thoughts and it helps a lot. Even if at first you don’t believe what you are telling yourself eventually you will. Keep up the great work.

    • Thanks. I think I need to reread my book Adore Yourself Slim and stop beating myself up. I know I comfort eat. Stressful day means cozying up with a hot chocolate. I need new pick me ups. Maybe I should print off all the motivational stuff I’ve got on Pinterest and pin it to my real walls instead lol.
      Having this blog has really helped. Commenting and supporting other bloggers and getting comments back. It’s a friendly little community ๐Ÿ™‚

      • It is, I love it here. It’s nice to get support from people that aren’t so close to the situation. I think you should print stuff off and put it up in your house. I use vision boards and love them. I have three so far. They are very motivational and help a lot. Forge on! We got this ๐Ÿ˜€

      • What’s a vision board? Sounds interesting ๐Ÿ™‚
        I’d be too embarrassed to say out loud a lot of what I blog. On here everyone is in the same boat.

        That is the link to my first dream board. I also have blogs under vision board as well. You should try it. There fun to make and pretty cool when some of the things start to turn up in your life.

      • That’s a really nice idea. Have you read The Secret? They remind me of my college mood boards.
        The wall across from my side of the bed is a bit bare. I could hang one there to see every morning.

      • I have watched the secret a few years ago. I do fully believe in the premise of it but I now know it’s not magic lol…. I think seeing it every day pushes us in the direction to achieve these things.
